Hand formed, cut and stamped copper disc with lyrics from the Beatles "Blackbird" that read blackbird singing in the dead of night, take these broken wings and learn to fly. Each letter is individually tapped into place, so there will be some variation in placement and appearance (the nature of handmade). The second disc is hammered to give texture, then heated to add patina and formed into a second dome to enclose the blackened silver bird charm in the center. The locket hangs from an 18" natural suede cord with adjustable knot closure.
